Terms of service

These terms are an agreement between you and Way of the Pigeon Ltd, a company based in the United Kingdom ("we", "us"), for using Sushi Pigeon: the desktop app, the web editor, our online services (accounts, cloud sync, share links, Sushi Pigeon AI) and this website. By using Sushi Pigeon you agree to them. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your data.

1. Using Sushi Pigeon

You can download and use the Sushi Pigeon editor free of charge, for personal or commercial game-making. You may not resell or redistribute the editor itself, or remove our notices from it.

2. Your games are yours

You own the games, art, music, code and other content you make with Sushi Pigeon. We don't claim any rights in them. You can sell your games and publish them wherever you like. The small game runtime that Sushi Pigeon includes in your exported games may be shipped with your games without charge.

When you use our online services, you give us permission to store, copy and send your content only as needed to run those services for you (for example syncing your projects, or serving a share link you published).

You're responsible for having the rights to anything you import or publish, such as images, music, fonts or third-party assets.

3. Accounts

An account is optional. Accounts are shared across Way of the Pigeon apps. You must be 13 or older to have one. Keep your sign-in secure, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

4. Fair use of online services

Please don't use Sushi Pigeon or its online services to:

• break the law, or infringe anyone's copyright, trademarks or other rights;
• publish share links with malware, scams, hateful or sexual content involving minors, or content that harasses people;
• try to get around plan limits, rate limits or security, or overload our servers;
• use Sushi Pigeon AI in ways that break Anthropic's usage policy.

We may remove content or suspend online features for accounts that break these rules. Where we reasonably can, we'll tell you why and give you a chance to fix it. The offline editor and your local projects keep working regardless.

5. AI features

AI answers can be wrong. Check what Pige or any AI tool changes before relying on it. Every change Pige makes is an editor command you can undo. You own what the AI makes for your project, as far as the law allows, and you're responsible for how you use it.

6. Paid plans

Some online features, such as Sushi Pigeon AI and extra cloud storage, will be part of paid plans. Before you buy, we'll show the price, what's included (for example the monthly AI allowance) and how billing and cancelling work. Prices end in .99 and include any VAT we must charge. Subscriptions renew until you cancel; cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. Your rights as a UK consumer, including refunds for faulty services, are not affected.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep the online services running, but we can't promise they'll always be available or free of faults. We may change or end features. If we end a paid feature, we'll give reasonable notice and refund any unused prepaid amount. Your projects are ordinary files, so you can always keep and export them.

8. Liability

The free editor is provided as it is. Keep backups of your projects. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud. Otherwise, we are not liable for indirect or unforeseeable losses, or for business losses such as lost profits. Our total liability to you for paid services is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Ending

You can stop using Sushi Pigeon and delete your account at any time. We may close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll change the date above and, for significant changes, tell signed-in users in advance. If you don't agree with a change, you can stop using the online services.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in another country, you keep any consumer protections your local law gives you, and you can bring a claim in your local courts.
